Life in the UK Practice Test - Top Tips
Following are the top tips to help you prepare well for the UK Citizenship Test:
- Try attempting practice tests before you take the actual test as practice tests are much harder than the actual test itself and would therefore prepare you fully for the final day.
- Make sure you take your time to read the question properly and understand what is being asked. Also, one question can have multiple answers therefore it is essential that you carefully read and understand all given options before choosing one best answer.
- Stay calm and take your time while you’re at it. Remember that haste makes waste. Use your time wisely and do not rush or hurry when answering questions as you might end up making mistakes without even being aware of it.
- If you are planning on copying someone else’s answers then you need a serious reality check. Please bear in mind that every candidate is given a different question paper making it impossible to match answers or ask another candidate for help. Learn to be on your own feet and prepare well for the test by solving sample test papers and consulting various useful study guides.
- Don’t stress yourself out by being under the impression that you have to answer all the questions correctly in order to pass the test. Please be informed that you are only required to answer 75% of the question correctly and voila! You will pass the test!
- If you don’t understand a question or are unsure of the answer it’s better to move on to the next bit rather than wasting your time and failing to answer all the questions.
